One thing you must keep in mind when working on the internet is any facet of labor is actually cheap! This is a good thing if you have the knowledge on how to make this cheap labor work for you.

Here are some great places to find low cost high quality labor for most any service you need.

Elance: This is a nice site that will allow you to post any kind of task you want to have accomplished. Then the members of the site will contact you and bid on the projects.

I use a couple of techniques here to assure I can get a good deal. I suggest using these techniques when you first start and can not afford to pay expensive rates. The outsourcing we are looking for here is from India, Russia and other countries where the normal wage is just a couple of dollars an hour. Once you get you feet on the ground and are making good money be sure to put your money back into your own economy. Meaning spend more money and find labor from your own country.

Here is how I found cheap labor on Elance or any similar site. First create an account. Once your account is created go and post a job. The key is how you word your job posting. Create your job as normal be detailed give all the pertinent information. Let them know you are on a limited budget up front. This way the people who do not want to work for lower rates will go away. Tell the bidders that you will pay via PayPal and they should contact you via Skype for more details as it is easier to communicate. Leave your Skype name in your job posting.

When they contact you via Skype match them up with their account in Elance. Check out their rating and decide accordingly if you want to work with them. If they look good negotiate price first either by the job or per hour. I like to do things by the job. Do not take the first bidder or the first offer you can negotiate with them, they want the work as bad as you need it done. Take your time and find the right guy for you.

These small things make all the difference. People from India and such love PayPal. They also know they have a good shot if you are working on limited funds. So they will be contacting you.

Next when you agree on cost and terms of the job, ask them if they would like to work outside of Elance offer to send them 50% up front via PayPal or Google checkout. This will allow you to save the Elance fees, however it also makes it easy for them to get over on you and just take your money. So be very careful here. I have never been taken by doing this and I have met some very good people that do great work at cheap rates. If you have an expensive project and can not afford to lose, I do not suggest going outside of Elance for payment. Elance does you give you limited protection against loss.

Here are some similar sites. As always Google search for more there are hundreds of sites out there like this.

www.rentacoder.com

www.rent-acoder.com

www.getafreelancer.com

www.affordableprogrammers.com

www.hireacoder.net

Message Boards / Forums

These are great places to find outsourcing.

In a message board be sure to read an entire thread if you are planning on using a service. There could be people in there that have good information that may sway your decision to deal with someone one way or the other.

When in message boards be sure to consider that people are people they will post what every they want. You have to take all the information at hand and then make you decision on what you are going to do. Some people are just idiots others are looking for a fight or to bad mouth someone. Some are very genuine and will provide useful and truthful information.

You can search for post by a specific user. Do a little research on the people you are considering working with. See how other transactions they were involved with went. If some one post a negative comment about his person research this person as well. See if all the are contributing is negative input, this will quickly tell you if you should be valuing their opinion.

Basically use common sense.

Digital Point: This is my favorite board. There are so many resources here you could honestly get lost in here of days. The area to go for outsourcing is the Buy Sell and Trade Area. In here you can find most anything you want. They also have a rating system that allows people to rate how good the services were that a member provided or how well the transaction went. This allows you to get feedback on a person before dealing with them.

Warrior Forum: This is the largest collection of Internet Marketers I have ever seen. This site has been around since 1997 and any information you need can most likely be found here.

Tip: Do a keyword search at these message boards for the type of job you are looking have done. Or at Warrior Forum do a search on outsourcing a wealth of information will come up.

I would like to start this off by saying, an autoresponder is the most important tool you will ever use in an internet business. There is no other tool you can have or use that can create the kind of results a properly used autoresponder can get you.

There are many things to consider when choosing an autoresponder.

Delivery success rate
If your e-mail’s don’t get delivered they won’t produce you any results. Makes sense right? So how do we make sure the emails are delivered? There are a few things that need to be considered here.

Whitelist vs Blacklist
What the heck is this and why do I care? These are two separate lists that every mail server out there has. One is good, one is bad, as you can imagine the whitelist is the one you want to be on. Here is a brief idea of what these are. Think of the whitelist as a yes list and the blacklist as a no list. Yes we accept and send mail for this person, email address, mail server, and or containing content such as a specific URL.

So what this all means is that when a mail server receives an email from you it inspects the email and determines what to do with it by not only the content contained in the email but also the email address of who it is from.

I am sure you have all seen the link form your email provider that says mark this as spam. Any one who receives an email from you can choose to mark it as spam even if it is not (I will cover this more later). So if you get a bunch of spam complaints from people at lets say AOL, AOL will then add your email address to their blacklist and will block any email coming from you. In addition they will also keep track of the content of these emails mainly the URL. If your URL is marked is contained in email messages that are repeatedly marked as spam, they will then start to block emails that contain that url as well. So you see in this instance we are guilty until proven innocent. Once you are blacklisted it can be hard to get your email off that black list. I will just change my email address and start using a different one this is the easy way out but it works.

SPAM Score
Most all mail servers will score the email you send out and determine whether they will deliver it by the score it receives. Again this is a flawed system, but it is the best they could come up with. There are plenty of sites out there where you can get a score on your email, most say keep the score under 5 and your ok but I try to keep mine as low as possible. I am shooting for 0. Talking about making money, mentioning FREE, even using a red font will raise your spam score of an email. This is a whole lesson of it’s own.

That being said Aweber by far is the best autoresponder I have ever used or came across. You can get a copy of aweber here! Get Aweber Here!

There are many things to consider when writing for SEO. Fist most people still think that SEO tactics only apply to your personal websites. This could not be more incorrect. Everything you do you should keep in mind these techniques and tactics. Articles and Press Releases are prime examples.

There are many things that factor into your placement on Google. Here are a few to keep in mind.

Google PR (Page Rank): This is a rank from 1 to 8 as to how important Google thinks your website is. The higher the number the better. Higher PR means Google will visit your site more often looking for new content and updates. 4 and 5 are very good rankings. I have only seen a couple of 8’s. Higher ranking will also mean if all content on the page is similar and you are competing for a position the higher ranked page will most likely be above the lower ranked page.

http://www.digpagerank.com – Accurate Page rank Checker

Keyword Density: This is the amount of times a searched phrase or word is on your page or in your article. This will be a percentage of the total words on the page. IE: 100 word on the page gas appears 6 times the density for gas is 6%.

Back Links: This is important and it will also affect your Google PR ranking. Back links are a link out on the web that points to your website. So every article you write should have back links to your site in it. The more links to your website Google finds the more important Google thinks your site is.

http://google.com/webmasters/tools – Check backlinks and various Google stats

http://www.backlinkwatch.com – Backlink Checker, almost as good as Google webmaster tools.

Anchor Text of Back Links: This is another over looked area. Here is an example. www.grnpaydayteam.com is a back link to my site. The anchor text is www.grnpaydayteam.com when you click it it takes you there. So both the anchor and back link is www.grnpaydayteam.com . This link Home Business has an anchor text of Home Business but the back link is www.grnpaydayteam.com . See the difference? If Google knows you have 100 back links with the anchor gas prices and the other guys competing for position only have 5 you will have a better chance of being placed above them.

Competition: Know what your the people you are competing against are doing. Get results of there site. find out how many back links they have.

Title Keywords: Use keywords again here. Try to keep it at 66 charters including spaces that is all most search engines will display.

Bold and Italics Keywords: Bold and Italic your keywords on the page a couple of times. Don’t get carried away here. too much is not better as a rule I only do it once per page.

Keyword Placement: Try and position your target keyword or phrase as the first and last thing the spiders will read when they hit your site. Also put your target phrase in a <H1> tag. Spiders read the HTML code from top to bottom so if you have a menu on the left make sure your keyword phrase is on the page before the menu. You can set up a table on your site correctly to have the search engines read this first.

Traffic Ranking: Google likes sites that get a lot of traffic. Alexa ranks your site for traffic and page views on a daily basis. Alexa is not the tell all there are some problems with the results Alexa kicks out but it is a good baseline. By some good bulk traffic. The traffic may not buy anything but it will get your exposure up, when buying bulk traffic be sure to buy if from the county or area you are promoting too.

Meta Tags: These are tags that tell the search engine about your page. These are very important for good rankings on your personal site. These go in the head section of your html code. If you don’t know what this means learn to write simple HTML you need to know it in this industry.

Robots: Tells the spiders to follow links and whether or not to index them.

<meta name=”robots” content=”index, follow” />

Content: is important to complex search engines like Google. This tag tells the spider what type of page you are posting, which helps the search engine categorize the listing. It also shows that you are following the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) guidelines, which could be an indication of a site being “optimized”. Here is the syntax used on this page:

<meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=UTF-8″ />

Description: This is what will be displayed on the search engine results page as a description. Keep it short and accurate to the page. Be sure to use your target keywords first in the description.

<meta name=”description” content=”your_keywords_here followed by a statement about your product service or organization.” />

Keywords: This is a tag that tells the search engines what your page is about you want to have variations of your target keyword in here.

<meta name=”keywords” content=”top 10 seo tips, what is seo, resources, seo software, seo ebook, search engine optimization” />

Attributes: Use title and Alt attributes on your images file names and links that contain your keywords. . If you have a image on you page give it an alt tag.

<Img src=”http://wemaketopearners.com/img/gas price img 1.jpg” alt=”Gas Price Image”> in this example the image name is gas price 1.jpg the alt tag is the same. Name your page gasprices.htm

Site Map: Create a site map that will index and list ever page on your site on a single page. Search engines love this plus they can easily find and index all of your pages. Also install Google Sitemaps.

Robot.txt file: This is a quick and easy addition it tells the spiders what to do when they get to your site.

Now that we have the basics out of the way. LOL Yes those are the basics. You can see there are a ton of factors that determine your sites placement in Google. Keep in mind you will need to do this for every page you want to try and index. It is more complicated getting a site indexed well than just a article you write. You can scrap everything above if you are just writing an article or press release.

Now lets talk about how to write the content correctly.

Have a focus or topic for your writing: The bulk of the work here as far as SEO goes is going to be done before you even start writing any content at all. The first thing you need to do pick a topic your topic is vague. A broad scope. Lets say you want to write about easing the burden of high gas prices by starting a home based business. This is a great topic as it is all over the news right now. So your topic is actually High Gas Prices.

Research your topic and the related keywords for your topic. So make a list of all related keywords. IE: Gas Prices, Gas Price Increase, Fuel Price, Oil Cost per barrel, ETC get a good list maybe 15 or 20 keyword phrases.

Now we need to learn about these keywords. there are 3 services I am going to recommend some of these have free trials. They will all accomplish the task at hand. I have no preference. . Word Tracker, Word ZE and Web CEO these are all keyword research tools Web CEO is a software that you download for free you can get limited use to try it out. You will need to pay for it to get the complete use which you will need. inventory.overture.com used to be a great free resource but they seem to have taken it offline.

Pick one of these program and type in your keywords. You are looking for search terms and phrases that are related to your key words. You will most likely not be targeting “gas prices” in your article. but you may be targeting “high gas prices” or “what to do about rising gas prices”. So how do you determine this. When you run a search through the services above on your keyword they will return results of the most searched phrases that match gas prices. Since “gas prices” is probably going to be highly search it is likely to be a targeted keyword. So when I did a search on results I noticed with Web CEO I noticed there was 19 million people competing for the term gas prices, but only 1 million for gasoline prices. This could be a good keyword to use. I still want to check out all the other words. In my list. I am looking for a highly searched keyword that does not have a lot of competition. This could be an entire phrase like how to find low gas prices. The tools above will help you find this phrase.

Now you have your phrase. Next you need to research that phrase. Go to Google and do a search on your phrase. Now take every result that is on page one and look at it. see if there is an article or write up on the page. If there is you will use a keyword density tool to see how many times your target phrase appears on the page.

Here are a couple tools. Do a Google search for more to use “Keyword Density” find one you like. I use SEO Elite and Keyword Elite for all of my research. These are costly but are the best I have found. These free tools below will work ok as well. If you are really going to attack SEO I strongly suggest SEO Elite and Keyword Elite.

http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.html

http://www.keyworddensity.com/

http://developers.evrsoft.com/seotool/

Find the density of your phrase on the top ranked sites. Then you will want to write your article keeping similar density just try to beat them a little. If the normal density is around 4.2% write your article and try to get 4.5% don’t kill yourself here. You just don’t want to be way above or way below the average. There are many factors that determine organic placement.

Yahoo service – submit your website rss feed on My yahoo as that will help your website to get indexed quickly on Yahoo.

Google Reader – when you submit your site rss to Google reader, it will be fastly crawled by Google blog search

Pinging services – Use the pinging services like ping-o-matic every time you add new content on your website for getting more visibility and links for your website

Search engines – Don’t forget to submit your website to big search engines like MSN, AltaVista, Ask.com etc. Do not submit your site to Google it will take longer to get listed than if Google finds you.

Submission to web directories – Submit it to top web directories like dmoz.org, Yahoo Directory, Business.com, Best of the web.

RSS submission – Add your website/blog to as many rss submission directories and search engines you can. Here is a big list of blog directory & rss submission websites.

Comments on websites/blogs – Commenting on other websites and blogs of your niche is also a great idea to get some valuable links as well as traffic to your web page. If you leave a value added comment there, many people will click on our website to know more about you and your website. But don’t spam other people website/blog and don’t get lazy in writing comments on related sites. When you regularly visit and comment on a website, that will be noticed by its readers. So commenting on other people page can give many valuable readers as well as link to your website

E-mail signature – link back to your website in your e-mail signature section. When you use it regularly for all of your out-going mails, you will see that you start getting some traffic through your signature that is clicked by people whom you send your e-mail.

Google groups – One can use Google group, yahoo group, msn group and many more group for building more traffic for their website. when you think of getting visitors from such groups, go for your niche specific groups and if possible create your won group there and continuously work on that to bring more people to your site.

Message boards / forums – As I have discussed earlier, forums as well can be used to drive more links and visitors to your site.

Article submission – One can use article websites like ezinearticles, americanchronicle, findarticles, goarticles, articlecity etc kind of top article submission websites to get quality links and visitors for their sites.

Buy traffic and Links - buy text and banner links for your website from the blogs/websites in your niche

Link exchange – Link exchange is still effective. There are many website owners who still use link trading as their main source of getting quality links for their website. And when your website has good back links for their targeted anchor text, your site will surely drive high amount of traffic from search engines.

Syndacation

PPC programs – Use pay per click kind of advertising to get more results for your site. When you use such kind of programs, your site will be listing in the sponsored section in search results on a search engine. All major search engines including Google, yahoo, MSN have their advertising programs.

Paid & free reviews – Ask people to write review about your website, product, services or your targeted keywords with your main keywords there. Offer them some kind of offer or payment per review that is being or will be made for you.

Social media marketing – Create strong profile on social media sites like Facebook, Youtube, Linkedin, Digg, propeller, Reddit, Newsvine and submit your favorite stories there

StumbleUpon – Install StumbleUpon toolbar in your system and create your account there. Make friends, write reviews, ask people for review and submit your interesting stories there.

Squidoo and Hubpages – Go to these websites and create your lens and hubs there. It will not take more than 15 minutes to setup a hub on hubpages.com and a lens on squidoo.com.

Wikipedia kind of open sources - If you have a popular website, why not create a page for your website on wikipedia.org.
