  1. Setup a designated office or work space.
    • Have a place you go to work your business. Away from distractions. If you are at home with family around pretend like you are at work close yourself in a room and ask your family not to bother you. You need to separate your work area from your home area.
    • Remember this is a business not a hobby.
    • No TV, Children, Radio, Family, Distractions.
  2. Commit to a set schedule.

    • Commit to a daily work schedule.
    • No Exceptions. If you are going to make this work you need to be committed.
    • Commit to X hours a day not weekly hours. You need to work on your business daily.
    • Set good work habits from the beginning.
  3. Stay focused.

    • You really need to work hard at this, daily there will be distraction all around you. You have to find a way to stay focused.
    • Again, No Children, Family, TV,
    • Avoid Other Business Offers – Unless you are a pro stick to one company.
    • Avoid Distracting Email or Websites – Do not waste your time in meaningless emails and/or websites
    • Avoid Nay Sayers – Do not listen to negativity anyone who says that won’t work. Just because your uncle is a doctor or lawyer that does not mean he knows all about making money. You would not ask your hair dresser how to rebuild the transmission on your car would you?
    • Do not take financial advice from people who have achieved the kind of success you are looking for.
  4. Educate yourself

    • Excercise your mind
    • Listen to training CD’s in your car during drive time.
    • Tons of good free stuff out there.
    • Set good work habits from the beginning.
    • Motivational and Positive Mindset very important.
    • 90% of this industry is mental.
  5. Plan your day.

    • 25% Learning
    • 25% Advertising
    • 25% Personal Branding
    • 25% Communicating.
    • You get the idea. If you only have an two hours a day work on only two things that day. 30 minutes is really not enough time.
  6. Set goals for yourself

    • This is very important.
    • 30 Days
    • 60 Days
    • 90 Days
    • 6 Months
    • 1 Year
    • 5 Year
    • Commit to these goals.
    • If you do not have a destination how can you reach it.
  7. Communicate

    • You need to talk to people.
    • Learn good communication skills
    • Ask a lot of questions
    • Be a good listener
    • 90% Listening 10% Talking
